It’s summer vacation time, again!

It feels a bit funny saying that, when things have already been pretty quiet here, but summer is short and I need to take advantage. Plus there are still so many stories I want to explore.

I’ve got a couple of road trips planned, plus some beach days sprinkled in between. I want to make sure I actually take a break. A bit of exploring, a bit of driving around, and a bit of doing absolutely nothing for once.

Yes, beach days mean I’ll probably have a book with me, but research can still be relaxing, right?

So, the blog will be quiet for about two weeks, but I’ll still be posting on social media like usual, and I’ll likely throw up a few reels here and there from whatever I get up to.

I’ll be back after the break with new photos and stories from what I find along the way.

I hope everyone gets a bit of time this summer to step away from routine and do something you enjoy.
